Head back
(reclining)
I fall asleep
waiting for you
in a shaft of sunlight
I
(supine)
in its spotlight
a rather larger than life
dust mote amongst dust motes
as if in a dream
I awake
to find my face
covered by your hair
your eyes
two little fishes
swimming into view
your mouth
a scarlet kiss
about to happen
taking my breath
away
with just the fact
that you are there!
