You Bathe Within My Tears - Poem by Holly Heron

Half a world away from here
You bathe within my tears
You laugh with glee at pain you bring
Now lodged within my chest
You smile with delight
To hear my sobs escape.

You bring me pain but shy away
When once I raise my hand
For god forbid i hurt once
When you have hurt three-fold.
