You lifted up my spirits
When no one else could
The way that you treat me
Always makes me feel so good

You've given me the confidence
That I've never had
You turned my life to good
When all it knew was sad

You told me I could achieve
That I could go far
You are my guiding light
Just like the brightest star

No one has ever treated me
As kind as you do
Would it be alright
If I fell in love with you

You brought new meaning to my life
You made me smile again
That's something I haven't done
Since who knows when

You chased away the cloudy days
You brought the sunshine here to stay
You turned my life around
In so many different ways

I hope in the land of forever
That's where we will reside
Because you should know
I always want to be by your side

I don't what to control you
Or tell you what to do
I only want to spend our lives
With me loving you
