You Can Be Sure

You can be sure.sure as your breathing
That you can know the Son of God
Find Him in the Scriptures
Through which faith is to be understood
With an awareness of God'spresence
His Spirit will bring Him near
With a prayer...Father forgive me
Please Father meet me here

It is my understanding
At least as far as I know how
That if I truly repent of my sin
You'll come into my life somehow
So here I am with all of me
Ready for all of You
Empty me of myself dear Lord
So there's room in my heart for You

Accept my contrite condition
I can't believe I'm kneeling here
Willing to be willing Lord
With faith and Godly fear
I rest upon Your promises
Trusting completely in Your Word
Thankful that I've come to confess
Full faith in what I've heard

You gave a one worded answer
Seemingly so simplistic to some
But in that word a most significant meaning
Who doesn't know what means..."Come"!
So friend I'm thankful that I came
And found the true realization
God's amazing offer is still on the table
Come repent and you'll find Salvation!

Hallelujah what a Saviour!
