You Can Come To Me Poem by norman hale

You Can Come To Me

You can come to me
And give me your hand
Tell me of your troubles
I'll try my best to understand

You can cry on my shoulder
And set your troubles free
I won't tell anyone else
your secrets are safe with me

I'll wipe away your tears
I'll probably cry a few too
But it will be all ok
Because this is just what friends do

The best things for these hardships
Is to sit and talk things through
So anytime you need me
I'll be right there for you

I've already faced most of these hardships
And trust me they just aint fun
But I'll be right there for you
When others put you under the gun

You may think I'm a bit crazy
my arms and ears are always at your lend
But what else can I say
I'm always here for you, my friend
