You Can'T See What's Going On Poem by Hazel Mc Taggart

You Can'T See What's Going On

I feel like you’re blind to my feelings.
It hurts so much,
That you don’t see the pain.
I wish you would show me more of your love,
To make me believe in you more.
It’s not easy for me,
Feeling left out.
You don’t notice it,
Although it’s not like you make an effort to.
You say you love me,
But it doesn’t feel that way.
It feels like you love other people more,
You treat them with respect,
Maybe even secretly cherish them with love.
It feels I’m not worthy to you,
As they are.
I hate it,
I despise it so much that I feel like crying.
I just don’t fit in here,
It’s not my home.
I don’t belong here,
I’d never be happy living with these feelings here.
I do regret that I don’t know you well as others,
I try to give as much respect to you as I can.
But how can I?
You can’t see what’s going on,
In my mind or my heart…..
