You Dare Not To Care Poem by Hebert Logerie

You Dare Not To Care

Rating: 3.5

You dare
Not to care
That's why I walked away
Today we'd have been
Another anniversary day
I fled the scene
To protect you and me
I was hurt and mad like a bee
During the winter season
I had every reason
To say goodbye
I was hurt; I did not want to cry
In public. I walked away
I flew away that sad Friday
Because I couldn't take it anymore
My heart was like an old sore
I had to find a way to heal it
I had to move on, I did not fit
Anymore under that roof
I felt strange and aloof
You dare
Not to care
So I flew away
That sad Friday.
