You Don'T Know What It Is - Poem by M.E. Michaud

You Don't Know What it Is
You don't know what it is
Until you are sucked into a world you don't want to belong to,
Finding you are predjudice to your own kind.

You don't know what it' like waking each day
Hoping you aren't what you are;
That for just one day you can forget about it.

You don't know what it is
To hide something as important as this
From the ones who will love you endlessly.

You don't know what it is
To wake up one morning,
And accept something you hate.
