Crazy Notion - Poem by M.E. Michaud
why does it hurt me so much
to let go of the crazy notion I have
Of the two of us holding hands
As we stroll aimlessly along the beach.
We'd walk for hours upon hours
Watching the tide roll in and roll out,
And all the while,
I'd make our dreams come true.
We would look up at the stars,
As we became one,
One with eachother and
One with the ever changing tides.
