' ' ' ' ' ' ' ' ' ' ' ' ' ' ' ' ' ' ' ' ' You Just Put Your Lips Together & Blow(For Scarlett) - Poem by Dónall Dempsey

The giant smiled.

His 5 o'clock shadow
looming large

vanished into
the projector room

like ghosts
returning to the tomb.

We ventured out

in our own little make believe

each of us our own Bacall.

The giants now

forever in our heads

that last kiss
held prisoner

in our longings &
