You Know I Love You - Poem by Neil Solan

You know I love you,
I've told you once before!
You know I love you honey, after all
I opened up my door!

You know I love you,
Though you make a mess of my bed,
You know I love you baby
But I'm not sure that we should wed!

You know I love you,
I walked you home from work!
You know I love you, lady
Though you stained my favourite shirt!

When I ain't sleeping, I'm drinking,
When I ain't drinking, I'm crying,
When I ain't crying i'm thinking of you,
(That is, when i'm not busy dying) .
