Somewhere in the middle
Between love and sorrow
You and I both lost sight
Of our plans for tomorrow

Somehow we've forgotten
The things we wanted to do
Somewhere along the way
I fell out of love with you

I'm not sure when it happened
Or for that matter the reason why
I'm not telling you all of this
Just to make you cry

But I think you should know
My love for you is gone
Now I know that it's time
For each of us to move on

You can go your way
I will go mine
We'll both feel much better
With the passage of time

But please do not dwell
On what could have been
I know somewhere down the road
You'll fall in love again
