But when you got close…,

Your distant view opened up my mind….,
To imaginary passion that was divine….,
Still as you drew near….,
My eye shed a tear….,
As I realized the years….,
Had been so unkind….,
What could I say….,
As you were walking away…? ? ?
Nothing…, absolutely nothing….,
You didn't know it was me....,
It was a sad, sad day.....,
I'm so glad you didn't stop....,
I'd rather recall the vision....,
