I need not cover my face with powder
Nor do I need to showcase my virtues
You love me as I am, no need to ponder
You love my soul with its flaws, scars and blues.
Since I met you, love stories I read not
For nothing outweighs the great love you sow
In my heart and soul, a love that dims not
In beauty and splendor it grows and glows.
I unveil my soul to you, O soulmate
With you I fear not to reveal myself
My naked bare truth, for I am yours by fate
Through love we found ourselves, inward we delve
As the flicker of hope in the darkest night
In dark, tough times your golden love shone bright.
