You Love My Soul (Sonnet #243) Poem by Tina Baaklini

You Love My Soul (Sonnet #243)

You stole my heart and captivated my soul,
Yet no thief are you; you give and bless.
My heart now dances, my soul feels whole,
Cradled within your rays of tenderness.

You chained my heart to yours forevermore,
With a golden thread that binds me in love.
Safe and cherished, with you I soar,
My sighs and silences you understand, sweet love.

You're a bundle of love, my divine bliss.
My flaws you cherish, my shadows you light.
Unconditional love is simply this:
To care, to soothe, to stay through every fight.

O soulmate, your pure heart outweighs humanity,
You love my soul—she's all you see in me.
