You May Be One Of Poem by Francis Duggan

You May Be One Of

You may be one of the nice people of the town
Always willing to help others never out for your own renown
You help those in need ofhelping every day
Yet not everyone of you has nice things to say
Not a judgmental person in any sort of a way
Your own part for to make a better World to live in you surely does play
You never does call anyone out ofname
Or for your acts of kindness seek recognition or any sort of fame
Compassionate people do never have a fan club
And they are never the heroes of any local pub
And though you are a person i can only admire
Andof singing your praises i never could tire
You are not among the admired of the town
And even a few in their words put you down.
