I watch you grow,
I watch you smile.
I watch you love her,
Like you used to love me.

I wonder what it was,
that you did, to push me away.
I wonder why i had to go,
& end you with me.

I miss those days,
of you & me.
All night phone calls,
when i would awake with you awaiting for me.

Because i knew i always had you,
or i thought.
I made a mistake,
& i can't turn back.

I made a mistake,
& can't have you.
