You Might Poem by Moth Harris

You Might

Well you might be going away for a while
It won't be home without you I'm sure you know
but before you go, I must tell you something
and you need to listen closely
because I'm never going to say it anyways

You might think it long or far away
You might get home sick one day
You might even wish you had stayed
But remember we're both waiting

I fear a quiet month
She fears the pain
I know it in our hearts we all feel the same
Because we're family now

You might think it long or far away
You might sit down tonight and pray
Just remember time stops without you
I promise you wont miss a beat
Without you here, our family isn't complete.

I will read these inspirational and heartfelt words daily to remind me of why I'm leaving in the first place. I will read them to give me strength to continue and succeed. I will read them to feel our connection and to know that things can only get better with in this family of ours. Thank you for this gift!
