Words Poem by Moth Harris

Words

Rating: 5.0

Words are the sharpest things I've ever known
They cut into me as if I'm not even there
Short of breath and shaking, not taking another step
Until I know that I'm going to be okay,
With all the words that you are going to say.

Now my heads down, staring at the ground
A sound, it's your voice and it's sweet melody.
The sound of happiness, the sound of fear
Which one will I hear, today?
What are you going to say?
