Don’t tell me how to feel about you
Don’t you dare.
My heart is black and my mind is racing
With love unspent.
And you tell me that you’re leaving me
shhh don’t make a sound.
My soul is heavy and my eyes are red
With tears uncried
And you tell me to move on but I
Haven’t even gotten up
My nose is runny and my breath is gone
I held it much too long
You would walk out the door if there was one
And that’s the best part of all
You never walked into my life....
so how can you walk out?
