You'Re Breaking Poem by Mathew Sutter

You'Re Breaking

It's sad for me to watch,
As I let you walk away,
That I am letting you break,
In front of me.
I can't fix you,
Though you think I can,
And I want to help you,
But I don't know how to do it right.

It's sad for me to watch,
As I let you walk away,
Because I know how to fix you.
But I can't do it by myself.

I think I can save you,
And it's true that I can,
But you won't like what I have to say.

I watch you from a far in the distance,
And even from here I can see the cracks,
That the world has given you.
But all you have to tell me is:
'i was lied to as a child, therefore i have a hard time trusting, i was touched as a child therefore i do not touch and i did not feel love as a child therefore i do not know how it should feel'

It is a sad thing to see you break in front of me,
But what is worse,
Is that you are breaking yourself...
