You Gave Me Denial Poem by Mathew Sutter

You Gave Me Denial

Rating: 5.0

Isn't it sad?
That you gave me denial?
I can't even be who I really am.
You say you will love me no matter what.
Then you make me fun of people who are just like me.

Prehaps you don't comprehend the pain you inflict,
Or maybe you don't care.
But whatever it is,
It's killing me.

I am the people you hate,
I am your curse,
But this is my life,
So don't try to change who I am.
I am your son,
I am yours and yours to keep.
Your one and only.
You will never get rid of me,
But get out of my mind,
And stop giving me denial!

You wrote this nicely. I'm sure there are people that go through the same thing. I give you a 10.
