You'Re Just My Reflection Poem by Moth Harris

You'Re Just My Reflection

Rating: 5.0

Standing alone facing my reflection
I was just looking for a sign
Something to show me my direction
Hoping there was something left to find

My hand on cold glass, I face you in the mirror
You whisper 'my past', Now I tell you I don't hear
It's something you wont grasp, You're no longer my fear
You're just my reflection, standing in the mirror.

Standing alone facing my reflection
I had to remind him he's not alone
His grand scheme to find perfection
Wasn't something I could call my own

I've been down for far too long, Now I see it so clear
What you've told me was wrong, There was no need for the tears
and all along I did belong, You're no longer my fear
You're just my reflection, standing in the mirror.
