This is a real treasure i found here in this poem lying under thousend (more then 1300!) other poems - i like the metaphor about the lost loose change somewhere and the devaluation of love, worth millions once... I carry on reading you backwards.

What a great put down...not too harsh yet hits the point that she was just not worth it. I enjoyed the conceit and how you turned that simple knowledge(I too read the same little news story) and how it became a meditation of the loss of a love...that although in potential was priceless...could never be collected!
