You Remain My Heart's Wonder Poem by Tina Baaklini

You Remain My Heart's Wonder

My love,

Poetry is my world
The world my soul breathes
A world that mirrors my heart
Where you and I live

Each word is infused by the scent of your love
Ornated with a wreath of red roses
As a proud princess, each word exits my heart
To rest on her crown amid my lines

But O, my heart is deeper than the sea
And wider than the sky you see,
There's an antique temple at mountain's peak
Secret, enchanted gardens, gates, places mystique

And still you remain my heart's wonder
My heart and soul you captured
With your tenderness, my endless rapture
O I see the two of us happily waltzing in the horizon's picture
