You Save Me Poem by Kathlene Ann

You Save Me

Rating: 3.5

I don't know how you do it,
But always just in time,
You save me from myself.
You save me from my mind.

You save me from my hands,
So ready to hurt me,
And make me love myself,
Make me strong as I can be.

I fear that which would happen,
If you let me go,
But for now I'll happily depend
On you, so let me know

When you've gotten tired
And don't want my company.
I'll light a funeral pire
And burn my love for thee.
