You See My Soul (Sonnet #228) Poem by Tina Baaklini

You See My Soul (Sonnet #228)

When people see my face, you see my soul,
Behind my smile, you delve into my heart.
Through my eyes, you read my psyche's walls,
One soul we are, whether near or far.

Thoughts fly between us carried by the wind,
Love messages are not message in a bottle,
Our hearts swiftly know what each one thinks,
Fate ties the hearts of soulmates to each other.

Safe I feel knowing that you care for me,
When my heart feels light as petals of jasmine
Or when it carries some worries,
Your tenderness' touch feels soft as satin.

Love poems I'll write till the end of time,
As long as together we stay entwined.
