You Shall Not Steal The Chill. Poem by Emmanuel George Cefai

You Shall Not Steal The Chill.

You shall not steal the chill.

To be it shall belong.

No snows, no, not even a flake.

But in the low bough the winds

Neigh a broken heart-cluster

And

In the higher boughs, the gales.
