You Turned Away Poem by Walter C. Edwards

You Turned Away

When you turned away,
you made my heart weep inside,
the tears almost come out,
I pulled them back,
so you could not gain a sense of pride,
so I cried with in.
you tour me into to two,
and I bleed apart,
you broke my fragile heart,
and you just turned away,
no kiss, no hug,
not a single sign of love,
in that empty heart of yours,
to one, you use to adore,
not now, not ever more,
you turned away.
