You Were Gone Poem by Christine Gries

You Were Gone

Rating: 5.0

My sun set down hard
Making The moon rise
with no thought of the sun
Batting of an eye
Whipping around
The moon danced
reciprocally with the clouds
and paid little mind to
tears failing, in its light
As Clock's time passes,
you were gone
