You Will Live Until You Die Poem by Claude H Oliver II

You Will Live Until You Die

You will live until you die
No matter your laughs or cries
You will live until you die
No matter dumb or smart
You will live until you die
Whether working, playing or just laying around
You will live until you die
Whether sane or whether mad
You will live until you die
Whether starving or whether sated
You will live until you die
Straight, gay or transgender
You will live until you die
Married, single, or in between
You will live until you die
Five minutes, five hours, five weeks to one hundred five years
You will live until you die
Be you drunk, crazy or just plain lazy
You will live until you die
Be you handsome or ugly
You will live until you die

Living and dying are inevitable
There is no escape
For as you are living, so are you dying.
Knowing this - enjoy your life
Experience it fully
Embrace its fullness and its pain
With gratitude and love for all
For none will come this way again
