Your Class Reunion

Have you been to a class reunion?
Can you imagine what it would be like
If you hadn’t seen classmates for 50 years
I doubt you would know most on sight

Looking at class pictures is so much fun
Trying to remember all the names
Remembering too the style of clothes
Oh my, nothing was ever the same

Getting together for so many stories
Hearing the line “Remember when? ”
Things seemed simpler back in the day
Nothing will be so simple again

Studying a face from across the room
And thinking, “Why I know that face”
And then you hear the voice and
You recall a certain time and place

Sharing too good food once again
Standing in line like you did before
Yes, there’s nothing like a class reunion
To put you back in school once more!

I don't know it must be more of a chick thing...I never went to one and because I just don't need anymore reminders of the past other than a good look in the mirror.
I still run into people I used to know....and we exchange insurance information.
