Your Eyes Poem by Andrew Rose

Your Eyes

Rating: 4.0

When i look into your eyes i see cities rise and fall,
I see men striving,
spending their whole life just to get a glance at you,
I see a world bow down to one that is pure of heart and mind,
I see a soul so breathtaking,
that my mind wonders,
is there anything more beautiful in this world?

I see intelligence,
A deep understanding for this world and its mortal occupants,
I also see a soul tormented,
By the demons of life and the people in it,
I see a usless fear of inadequacy,
one who falls prey to the expectations of others,

But most amazingly,
I see a love reflected in those glorious windows to your soul,
I see my love for you,
You my angel,
My angel with eyes that are wonders in themselves,
My angel that can light up the night,
With a glow that lights up my life,
And of all those who surround her,

When i look into your eyes i see someone who has just no idea of
How wonderous and beautiful they trully are...
