Your Eyes Are Sad Poem by JAMES T. ADAIR

Your Eyes Are Sad

Rating: 4.7

Your eyes are sad
I wish to help you find your smile
I feel my heart sink when I read your emotions
feeling as if I knoe you all the while

Knowing inside the feeling
that something has hurt you
and gone so wrong
I just want to tell you....you belong!

Why sadness and lonelieness strike good hearts..
I don't know the reason
Why are some people warm at night while others are freezin'
Seems some just have it harder, season after season

I am one
and so I know
I've felt every blow
seen love come and go

But this I wish you to know
Life will turn around for you
Don't let it get too heavy it crushes you
take it easy...take it slow....happiness will show!

You've got sad eyes
When I see you're photo
and read your poems
I do realize

If God gave you a burdon
He must know you're strong
trust there is a reason, don't dispair
pace yourself, in case the wait is long

but I want you to realize
You belong! !
You'll live to find your happiness
and to sing a lovesong

There are things in life we can't figure
we can't reconcile; can't bear or stand
until later when we feel God's hand
Trust that in time we will better understand

You think you are weak
But you'll learn your are stronger
hearts seek laughter and joy
but it might take a little bit longer

And when these things come
they'll mean much more to you
because of what you endured
and what you've been through

The message of all this
won't be lost on you
Now hurting inside
and feeling so blue

You're someone good
I can so readily tell
because the lessons I've learned
I've leaned hard and well

Don't lose faith now
Don't lose the things that are good
If people fail you
know you did the best you could

Someday soon it's going to be brighter
Nicer things were meant for you
Good things will shine through
Don't let sadness take the heart out of you!

Look past the mistakes
and the hardship you're going through
Know someow you're where you're meant to be
One day, for sure, the sun is going to shine on you!
