Your Eyes Are Smiling Poem by Debora Soramaki

Your Eyes Are Smiling

The way you looked at me last night
The way you took and held my hand
You were beautiful in my sight
It was more than I could stand.
A soft glow shone upon your face
The gentle beating of your heart
As we continued to embrace
No one could pull us apart.
The way you looked at me last night
It was as though your eyes were smiling
Reflecting all the stars so bright
Be it ever beguiling.

Many say, the eyes are the windows of the soul...i kinda believe it (smile) , and even wanna add to it...'the eyes speak a language through which the hearts can communicate quite profoundly warm- even in deep silence. Nice piece. Thank you for sharing Debora. Take care, Rain
