Your Fate Poem by Mahathi Mydavolu

Your Fate

Sometimes or even often nothing works.
The difference between the good and bad
diminishes and no idea yours sparks
good luck - that makes you turn extremely mad.
All roads to your most trusted paradise
get closed by briers and brambles tall and sharp.
Your eyes ooze tears sans reason- see you mice
around and feel you're stalled before a scarp.
Your church bells stop ringing usual sweet tones.
Your friendly deities in the sacred shrines
suddenly start looking like speechless stones
and Allah stops heeding to your loud whines.

You realise soon - your fate is in your hand
and mind; and wield it like a magic wand.
