Your Inner Child Poem by Roger Snow

Your Inner Child

In the most amazing days
of childhood ways

you can imagine a Castle wall
or Valley down below where
trees grow a hundred feet tall

March in a Band or off to War
Imagine anything, maybe imagine
yourself to be a little less or a little more

I imagine my Childhood was lived
in this way, , ,
spent a lot of time daydreaming
in my room
while others went outside to play

Imagination is the Key, ,
to imagine yourself totally free
to be a Knight, ,
or maybe understand the meaning
of what it's like to be, , , , , , , , ,
the finest Apple in the Tree, ,

to imagine, , yourself, ,
a Ghost in the closet set to scare
or a Clown in a Circus, ,
with bags of goodies to share, , ,

Maybe one day, I'll go back to Imagine myself
a Grown up with a Car to drive, , ,
or a Soldier in a Fox Hole
fighting to survive, , , ,

I know what I create, , ,
is a small portion in a Bag of Fate.

Imagine we can Sail a Ship across
seven Seas, To be Pirates
or a Detective solving
Murder Mysteries ~~~~~~~~ End
