Your Love Poem by Libby Harvey

Your Love

Sitting here, thinking of how I miss you,
Trying to fathom what I would do, if you were with me.
Where am I?
I’m here, sitting at my window sill watching the sun sink into the purple puff of powder.
my head is in the clouds, unable to fall back to the ground.

I can hear your gentle voice in my delicate ears.
sweet words ring my drums, and cause my skin to tremble.
Then they bring a smile to my face.
You blow me away when you talk to me,
making me feel so chill and care-free.
Your eyes twinkle like stars in the summer sky.
They give me peace and reassure my trust.
You have such a big heart, and share it so well. Bringing joy to mine.
You unknowingly cross every line.

That witty little chuckle gets me the most.
It's the greatest, most contagious gesture of all.
You are my never-ending weakness, and joyous addiction.
That non-stop, constant happiness.
You are my best all around and piece of perfection.
Nothing can effect this affection.
It paralyzes my heart and ceases to amaze me.
There is no greater way this love could be.
