Your Memory Poem by Tiya Sen

Your Memory

Rating: 5.0

As I sit under the moonlit sky near the silver sea,
This one memory keeps coming back to me.
It is from a time far far away,
When our love was untouched by dismay.
I can see your face lit up yet serene.
I can see your eyes calm yet twinkling.
You held my hand and took a long look at me,
And kept looking for what seemed an eternity.
You told me how you will always be there,
Through all the smiles, tears, happiness and despair.
But I guess now, always has come to an end,
Our love has become just a passing trend.
It doesn’t hurt me that you couldn’t honor your vow
It just hurts to see how easily you are happy without me now.
