Your Silence Poem by Peter S. Quinn

Your Silence

Rating: 5.0

I don't have anyone to love
for rainy skies are here,
clouds getting darker above
like tears everywhere.

There is no light to be found
when sorrow is in,
and darker days only around
emitting their spin.

Flowers declining to night
loneliness on calling,
happiness has lost its flight
leaves of joy falling.

You gave nothing to show
only your silence,
now it's time for me to go
not giving another chance.

Gardens grow elsewhere
full of colors and light,
I don't need you here
with your friendless night.

Spring for me shall again rise
giving its gardens to adore,
joyful moments of surprise
love andjoy and so much more.
