Your Silk Scarf Poem by sean north

Your Silk Scarf

look at you with
Your daylight eyes
turn away and
act surprised
always tell the truth
and never tell lies
see how this sun
swallows up our skies
we can crash like a wave
or fall like the rain
be the wind in the trees
comes to wash away pain
sometimes we hit yeah
sometimes we miss
honey come and give me
one more kiss
can you feel this heat
in the moons soft glow
lying on these sheets
like a ruffled rainbow
