Your Summer Breaths Poem by Farzad Jahanbani

Your Summer Breaths

After I met you and placed your love in my heart,
I learned what Summer truly is:
My passion for you,
The pure warmth of your heart,
Your voice saying "I love you..."
All of these melted the ice in me:
Spring blooms sprouted in my soul, so
I realized I was in a Winter before you
Now that you are not with me, I am Autumn.
Come back to me: make me fully alive, blowing
Your summer breath into my heart's ear.
Come back before it's too late
