Your World Poem by Natasha Andeyi

Your World

The invasion into your world is costing me in ways I didn't know it would.
I mean, how would I have foreseen every single detail,
I'm no prophet, even though I wish I was.

Seeing you experience the best moments alive with them,
Yet here I am waiting to be a part of your life,
To give you some of the best moments in time.
Will I even top their best moments alive?

Comparison is not my thing, I hate it actually.
But now I'm just waiting in line in my mind.
Somehow still convinced that I'm meant to exist in your life.
The one created with your soul in mind.

I need a life, at the same time, I need you around.
Even if fantasy is what you're about, I don't give a damn.
After all, ain't half a loaf better than none?
I just want to exist in your world, reality or otherwise,
Because you're worth more than the diamonds underground.
