You're Not Alone Poem by Francie Lynch

You're Not Alone

I'm fit,
But will I survive.
I'm healthy,
But will I succeed.
I'm loving,
But will I be loved.
I'm friendly,
And I will do all these and more.
Strength, health and love didn't hold our hands through evolution and history.
Friends did. We didn't hunt the alone.
Shoulder to shoulder.
We didn't build alone, explore alone.
Defend alone.
We didn't do anything alone.
Be nice. Be friendly.
You're not alone.
