Youth Again Poem by Dorsey Baker

Youth Again

Tongue embracing
Tongue
Upon foreign mouth
A sweaty kiss
Aflame
Fully loaded
The bullet breasts!
Urgent desires!
Watching the wild weeds of youth
Sexual quicksand
Drowning in!
The heart quickly speaks
As it beats itself
To death!
Blazing sun
Upon green grass
A frosty white
A frozen blanket
Icy cold
Childhood slips away!
Hides itself in the past
Unavailable to the naked eye
Ears too deaf
To hear the mournful cry!
Unless you find some way
To begin again!

Aptly described. The painful pleasure of measuring up to adulthood. Laws of nature. Well done
