In the world of youth, where crimes persist,
A puzzle to solve, a societal twist.
What drives their actions, do they even know?
In the land of peace, why does chaos grow?
Are they born with darkness, a seed of sin?
Or products of a system, where hope wears thin?
Is delinquency the cause, or a plea for aid?
Should we blame them, or the foundation that decayed?
If parental neglect sowed seeds of strife,
If shattered homes were the canvas of life,
Can we fault the children, for paths they tread?
If love was absent, should they be left for dead?
If education was a distant dream,
If rage and frustration were the only stream,
Can we judge without offering care?
If help was absent, is it fair to declare?
With proper nurture, could they have been redeemed?
With guidance and love, would their paths have gleamed?
Society must reflect, on what lies beneath,
For delinquency's a symptom, of deeper grief.
Let's mend the fences, rebuild what's lost,
Offer redemption, no matter the cost.
From the ashes, let's help them rise,
For in our hands, their future lies.
n essence, "Youth's Lament: A Call for Redemption" prompts us to reflect on the deeper grief underlying delinquency and encourages compassion and support for young individuals, regardless of their past choices.
That is such a beautiful poem, I do indeed love the rhythm of each.
Unparalleled old-fashioned, but still valid for our times. An excellent poem!
