Zimri - Poem by Edward Kofi Louis
I am walking through the wilderness of love and,
I have three days journey on this mission;
But like the tent of Yael full of milk,
The earth shook and the mountains quaked.
Give ear to my poems oh Kings,
Give ear to my poems oh Queens,
Give ear to my poems oh Princes,
Give ear to my poems oh Princesses,
Give ear to my poems oh Nations,
For i am walking along the byways of love;
But Zimri is my heart's desire.
