Zzz.12. The Luckiest Man Poem by Mason Maestro

Zzz.12. The Luckiest Man

Number twelve has finally arrived
Inspired from a Vera it is derived
She's just turned two and come unglued
Her temper flared up and then she pooed
No matter what song I sing, like Canada goose!
Must be her big brain the size of a moose
I've read all her books- I'm sure you know
'We're Going on a Bear Hunt' and Canada Snow
Brown Bear, Fallen Apple, the Places You'll Go
You know, that one that should be read in Utero
Those poo sayings - they still ain't gone
Now it's Yackiti Yack! And Put Your Pants On!
Quacky Quackers and Buckle Your Shoe
(And others that are no longer new)

We finally did the trip to Greece
Even though we ended up meeting the police
Santorini was nothing less than a dream
And it helped us to let off some steam
Next week we will head to Alberta once more
And this time V will come with us to explore
The first time for V and my family to meet
I'm quite sure my mom will think that it's neat

There is also a reason that I chose this certain date
I feel that it's an appropriate time to celebrate
It is January 20th - ten years on the mark
When I first came to China (we arrived in the dark)
It had not occurred to me during that time
That this country would land me a lifetime find
I met my orange Juzhi - the most beautiful girl
She's my wife, my all, my bright shining pearl
We gained a great dog, a house and a car
Then came our precious little V,
I'm the luckiest man by far!

What a revelation! Great union inside Great Wall on China; Is it? Nice write too.
