Twenty-first. Night. Monday.
Silhouette of the capitol in darkness.
Some good-for-nothing -- who knows why--
made up the tale that love exists on earth.
FLOOD-TIDE below me! I watch you face to face;
Clouds of the west! sun there half an hour high! I see you also face
Now that you arrived in the afterlife,
What was your earned income?
Hope you did not see the ugliness
Men lament that they have no time to do things
needed being done.
Yet, they sit wasting time, watching T.V. for
The riches of the poet are equal to his poetry
His power is his left hand
It is idle weak and precious
His poverty is his wealth, a wealth which may destroy him
Phoebus, sitting one day in a laurel-tree's shade,
Was reminded of Daphne, of whom it was made,
For the god being one day too warm in his wooing,
She took to the tree to escape his pursuing
He leant against a lamp-post, lost
In some mysterious reverie:
His head was bowed; his arms were crossed;
He yawned, and glanced evasively:
On the children's day,
To the Lord I pray.
May God bless,
To one and all success.
New attire and

It is me in a new attire
You got your seat
Without any drop of sweat
Relied on your grandfather
My anger cannot retain free thought or free rain, laziness of others inflame me so, humanity can do so much, just to survive and adapt, but care so little of others, greediness and selfishness in meaty form, no body is truly morally true, in fact most are dumber than you, ignorance breeds arrogance, hatred breeds pain, stupidity just brings forth arguments, in the end humanity just seems boring, especially if your alone and unfulfilled, economy's fall and countries die, rights in the face of power die just like that, its a shame to be here, the DNA we have allows trillions, but its me and you? they will call us lucky and free, the only thing in solace for all to know, the only thing guaranteed, is death smiles at us all, the best thing a man can do is smile back.

Never fool around
Tiger King craziness
Giving me shivers
This mind has traveled the world over, holding onto memories blending rhythmically in throes of a united world as we gather and take back our freedom we so un-wittingly let slip away.
Now awake and fighting intensely all the foolhardy laziness that we never should've held onto, our dreams about to be drowned in a socialist government.
What the Dickens is all that about,
When a comment is cut and pasted.
A section of the poem just read,
Seems original thought is wasted.
Life is invaluable
Hope for the best.
Go on cultivating self effort
there are people who work around the clock
heavy duty huge hours worked in a week people
people who work hard off work play hard
Writing a poem is not about bringing some words together to create some charming sentences. It's so much deeper than that. Writing poetry is a bridge that allows people to express their feelings and make others live every single word they read. Poetry is to educate people, to lead them away from hate to love, from violence to mercy and pity. Writing poetry is to help this community better understand life and live it more passionately. PoemHunter.com contains an enormous number of famous poems from all over the world, by both classical and modern poets.
