Of human ignorance I am almost in despair
For racism is around me everywhere
But like they say sheer ignorance is bliss
Just like Judas betrayed Jesus with a kiss.

Wise words from a wise old fellow for as long as I live I'll recall
He said if you are a Racist to one Race then you are a racist to all
You cannot be a racist to one Race and claim you are not racist in any way
Few racists like to be called racist we are not racist you hear them say.

I always feel disappointed when of racism I read
And when I read of it in Ireland I feel very sad indeed
For racism in society should never have a place
And people should never be judged on their colour or their race.

And for retalitation the Kellys they had an excuse
Ned and Dan Kelly's sister Kate was raped by a man of the law
In the dehumanizing of the Kellys that was the last straw.

In the Human World it does not belong
We do not need racism since it is so wrong
The racists in their ways are so very small
To have them amongst us a blight on us all.

And the Human World of it is surely not in need
The greatness in 'the fair go' the racist seems to miss
There is truth in the saying that ignorance is bliss

Some people who have a bad experience with a member of a particular race tend to generalize
But sadly for them they do not seem to realize
That for the sins of one a whole race should not be to blame
That everyone is only responsible for their own sins of shame

The praises of their own race some do like to sing
But of a superior race there is no such a thing
Of all colors and nationalities in every village and city and town
There are good and bad people of black, white and brown

Some things never change suppose life is this way
Racism is still rife in the Human World of today
Racism through religion and nationality and culture and race
Is now as was always a human disgrace

Racism is a thing people meet with every day
In hurtful things of them the racists does say
Of their culture or their religion or the color of their skin
In a World where some are quite racist a fair go seems hard for to win

Racism does have three colours black, white and brown
And sadly there are racists in every town
And the victims of racism can be of any race
But in humanity for it there ought not be a place

Racism to it does not have a gender, creed or race
Or the color of your eyes or the color of your face

Racism and Rank are humanity's shame
All people should be equal and the same
